    The Prickly Pears are in bloom

    Here is a little piece of my world. I know that many of you live in other parts of the world and have never even seen a prickly pear cactus in real life. Well, they are in bloom again so I thought I would share some pics with y'all.

    I know, flowers are gay, but these a CACTUS flowers so they are bad ass.

    Anyway this time of year the wild flowers are blooming like crazy around here and so are the prickly pears.

    I put a food sicker on it as kind of a joke, but you can buy cactus in the grocery store here, and they are not too bad to eat. Yes... they take the thorns off!
