No, not for the spinal elbow, jeez I didn't say everything looked fantastic, but it looked like some decent sparring in some of the cases, in others, it looked like lame point sparring. At least they are wrking on GNP and Subs. Poswt your schools sparring to we can see the real deal.

Me too. I remember enjoying it when I was 12, it should be about as much fun now.

According to my cousin who went to San Diego the same year that movie released, that song was played 3-5 times per hour on every radio station.

I recall that year. I also recall hating CnC dance factory.

I'm surprised I can even listen to techno at all now.

I met Jeff Speakman at the Western Fair here in town when I was in my early twenties. He had a booth set up for something, I can't remember what now..
Real nice guy. He was joking with us and seemed really cool.
I remember thinking his movie 'The Perfect Weapon' was pretty cool way back when. It is hard to find in a rental store nowadays. I am pretty sure he was one of Ed Parker's students.
Edit:I thought that vid was alright. I agree that there must have been some pulling of punches. A lot of those guys look way too strong for somebody not to be going down.

    Meh.

Somehow, it doesn't bother me that I get crap confused with crap.

    Elbow to the spine

When will the elbow to the spine myth die?
When BJJ first hit big blackbelt mag had some "experts" showing ways to counter a grappler. It was embarrassing to watch Tom Mizula show the deadly downward elbow while making scary faces.

Recently JFS was exposed for teaching the deadly elbow. It was funny how that asshole dodged Anthony's questions about it for about 3,741 pages. Good riddance to that elbow-to-the-spine dropping dipshit!

Now this video. Glad I got out of ke_po before I began doing that.
