No, I think he is referring to the whole flame fest surrounding the videos from some past MD Throwdowns and Aesopian's Gold Standard Thread. Would have been back around the beginning of the year when JFS was still around.

Yeah close. It actually came up before. The MD was laughed at for the knife larping more than contact. It was before that but the MD cemented the rules.

I should say JFS cemented the rule changes.

Also, there was an issue of people wanting respect for attending throwdowns that were more training sessions.

Nothing wrong with training but, like was said in one of the many threads, a throwdown is a skill test not class time.

Let me clarify we should continue bitching about the MAP video.

I mean when someone whines about a throwdown they should be temp-banned, made to watch the entire MAP video, and apologize to Phrost before they are unbanned.

that email is classic. what a whiny bitch. im done with MAP, i just cannot tolerate being on a forum with people like that. i could probably tick the reasonably intelligent people on that site off without even having to use my toes.

is the video the same one as on the google video? also is there any chance of somebody compressing this and perma hosting it on bullshido? that would be awesome.

True, but there was also a lot of bitching over a year ago about people showing up to throwdowns, sucking ass, and then acting like they had authority just because they got fists next to their names.
