Good question Askari,
I typed the name of the school, then I hit backspace a couple of times and put in an indirect reference. Why? Oh, I don't know.
I'm not trying to hide it but not trying to make it explicit either.
I guess I'm just trying to focus my attentions and arguments these days to FSD in general and specific and NOT to a particular school or Sifu.
I've made my previous critique of the school posting both good and bad, but the rest of my arguments I've been trying to keep focused on what I perceive of FSD itself, which is why I'm trying to keep specific school references out of it.
I just thought this may be a interesting tid-bit representative of a greater trend.

I wonder about Askari's comment on break-away schools. So far, the other school owners have shown incredible loyalty to sJP such that the idea of splitting away seems like heresy. But that exactly what sJP did with WCD, so I don't see how he could condemn such a move. I mean, if a school owner were to cut ties, he/she wouldn't even have to change the curriculum or anything - just take the name "fang shen do" off of it. Because again, that's exactly what sJP did, he took WCD and slapped a new name on it.
I wonder how often this thought secretly crosses the minds of the FSD owners. I guess they stay because of that kick-ass logo.

It's kind of a built in way to keep everything the same, if you think about it. Just visit Mr. Demile and get certified. It's not like you don't have the curriculum mastered. Presto, insta-WCD school. *grin*
I have been told that people 'stealing FSD and not giving credit' is a great fear in Fang. It's easy to understand why with this particular martial art creation story.
Sigh. Still, I got MY life, and I'm training to fight. One day, I hope to punch and kick real good too.

That dog is clearly NOT wearing silk. Your bullshido is starting to wear and tear a bit here. Also it's WAY too happy.
