We all know that many sports players use supplements. Of course, enhancements are on the low nowadays considering steroids are illegal for sports. But caffeine (want a Red Bull when your dosing from homework but wanna work out, anyone?), now to me, that's still enhancement. But what's more curious to me is how BIG these full-contact fighters get. Now, I know lifting every other day and training everyday does something to your body. But scientists have shown that w/o supplements, everyone has a physical/biological/genetic limit. So, what is it anyway? Protein supplements, creatine? Just wondering, I know someone's gotta know something on this issue. BTW, does anyone here take creatine? It seems...very interesting to me that it has no known side effects besides dehydration and long-term kidney problems...well, at least deadly side effects LOL!

Hahaha, science of enhancements are 100 years ahead of science of detecting enhancements.

Plus olympic semi accept enhancements in some way. For example, they set testosteron limit to 6 times of normal. Then athlets make sure that they get 5.9 in the testing. What testing do is to control the level of abuse not ban it.

And all the illness athlets get into later in their life......

It ain't any legal supplement that is making these fighters rapidly expand.

Or in some cases (ie. Kevin Randleman) rapidly drop a massive amount of weight - when he came dowm from HW to LHW

The thing with supplements is they havent actually been around long enough to observe the long term effects. Marijuana is the only drug proven to be a safe enhancement supplement.

Also, i would like to point out that i dont know what im talking about or what im doing here

How you train is more important then the supplements you consume. Intensity of training and adequate rest equal mass in body building. With this combination, and a sensible diet, you can reach your bodies potential in the shortest amount of time. To try and push beyond your postential is foolish and dangerous.

Good contribution bolverk, however, you left out the part about how Marijuana or "weed" to the laymen, actually brings an energy source from outside your body to repair and build up your muscle that was lost in the workout.

I guess my short term memory was affected by the last dose of this supplement. LOL.

How about how marijuana or "weed" raises estrogen levels and contributes to soft muscles?
