Any pursuits can be spiritual pursuits if one approach with honest and sincer intent.

Just that practicing martial arts or any activity alone won't give you spirituality, nor mouthing of ideal would improve one's spirituality.

If you want to be honest person, be one.

MA is not mutually exclusive in this. And as far as vital points and channels. That came from MEDICINE not MA. MA adapted what they found useful, which knowing the weakness of your opponents body is a useful thing when you are trying to kill them. So the whole KI/CHI deal did not come from MA but from early DOCTORS.

Acupuncture is mostly bunk. Aside from offering a little pain relief, modern science has largely de-bunked it.

It's an interesting art with some interesting ideas. Some may have merit but likely need further study. But I can't imagine a situation where I'd see an acupuncturist before I'd see a doctor.
