Ugly *****. *nod*
I always? (try anyway) circle away from power side of opponent with good distance apart, step in with ugly jabs, step (more like leap) out of range as i'm pulling my jab back. If got in quick enough, throw in a cross or low kick (both ugly) then dash out.
I'm too ***** to be up close range for hooks, uppers and/or knees except when I stepped in too deep...then I end up doing 1, 2, 3 because I'm a bore and that's only combo i'm comfortable with. -

I like to counterpunch and on occasions try to get on the inside. I do bob and weave a lot though, kinda bad since i'm no longer doing kickboxing. In MT i tend to get a knee in the face a lot lol. But i'm learning :P
I tend to use the front kick a lot to keep the distance or just to throw the opponent off and then move in.
Still experimenting what works though. -
i keep tryin to spar, but nothin happens!

I'm new to the mixed game but I find I like to kick and kick more, and counter kick. Prolly becuase that's all I've done with TKD for the past few years. Not a fan of the punching range, could be my short reach. When people come inside I'd rather step in and clinch and work from there rather then trade punches, but we'll have to see how things develop with more training...
