    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Stupid Things MAists Say.

Ok. Try and keep it short and sweet. Not life sagas. :virus:

My gymnastics coach who does wushu said that really good preying mantis fighters can hook thier finger into your clavicle and tear it right out.

A bujinkan instructor said that the Gracies won't challenge Nagato becuase they know they'd lose.

Oh, and bujinkan takes 20 years to actually use in a fight. And you thought _ing _un's 10 years was a long wait.

I knew a guy who did taichi and he said he became so sensitive through training that he could see the flickering on TVs. He also cured his sinus problem as well.

That's all I can remember for the moment but I'm sure there I must have heard a thousand quotes of idocy.

An old TKD instructor of mine said that one of the potential results of a reverse punch to the chest was that the sternum would shatter and shards of bone would shoot into the heart resulting in death.
I didn't believe it even then.

Old lady told me that her father learned MA in the army and he could poke his finger in your eye socket come out the other eyes socket and then rip out the bridge of your nose.
People often tell me that I fail to see the gravity of the situation.
I see the gravity, and I say...

Step right up folks and watch me defy gravity!

Shito-ryu instructor once told me that a powerful reverse punch to the chest over the heart could cause the heart to skip a few beats, and leave the opponent on the ground flopping like a dying fish for a few minutes. I later had a med student tell me that it was technically possible, but I remain skeptical.

In the old days, to get your black belt your had to rip out a man's heart and show it do him before he died

I can beat you with both arms tied behind my back. You can't beat anyone with your arms tied behind your back.

it can be done. a few cricket players have died from getting a ball to the chest. 99% of the time it won't work, you have to hit at just the right part of the heart beat. pretty unlikely.

"kick with your foot, it's moving faster than your shin"
well, yes. but it will also break into lots of litte pieces if I hit anything hard.
