Has anyone seen the "tap" yet? There is no way the ef is that stupid. I dont know why the didnt make them keep going if it was such a obvious mistake that the Gracies are getting calls from officials apologizing left and right. Someone wanted a Japanese star to shine. Plain and simple. I doubt they will even give Royce a rematch. Pride is notorious for worked fights from time to time. That ruined what could have been a very technical fight that alot of people wanted to see badly.

I agree that the call was BS and Royce wasn't beat yet but I still think Yoshida would have won.

I also believe there WILL be a rematch because the contreversy will already has generated alot of intrest, which mean MONEY$$$ to promoter.

I think that Yoshida WAS winning and I don't know why he didn't go for the hammerlock (kimura) which he almost had, think of the irony. Anyway what a load of bullshit, I'm glad it was a no contest.

I've seen the fight like 5 times already. Royce didn't tap. They show in one of the replays how the choke wasn't even across his neck.

I don't think it was a total work. I think Pride wanted to make it look as real as possible to stur up a big contraversy and sell tickets for the rematch. This is the kind of thing they do.
