    On a side note, I saw a lecture by the guy that wrote "The Physics of Superheroes" Friday.

    Superman would have to apply 6000 pounds of force to the concrete in order to leap a tall building (30 stories) in a single bound, apparently, and krypton would have to have a neutron star as a core to account for the gravity, which would explain why it blew up.
