    XMA???

Hmm, maybe this shoulda gone into the Bullshido forum but, I've been web surfing and i keep runnin into all these "XMA" (X-tream Martial Arts) pages, and i've been wonderin......... DOES ANYONE EVEN GO TO THESE CLASSES? dont get it twisted, i respect those who can do all the flips, rolls, etc. but to try and pass it off as its own MA is the dumbest thing i've ever heard of.

maybe i'm bein kinda harsh,If anyone has been to or ever seen one of these classes, plz educate me on how it works.

Harsh? No my friend. XMA is FUCKING STOOOOOOPID!!
People often tell me that I fail to see the gravity of the situation.
I see the gravity, and I say...

I went to my nephews ATA tkd tourney. They had XMA going on there with kids doing chromed staff katas and flips and ****. The kids had a great time. The funny thing was the fully grown men doing this stuff to who let the dogs out and that song that goes 'Let the body's hit the floor'. It was the gayest thing I had ever seen. Well next to ATA sparing.

Next time you find yourself wondering about XMA or talking to an XMA person.

    1. Tell them they are doing a more entertaining version of gymnastics.
    2. Ask them which they consider more extreme? UFC/PRIDE/Ect. or doing flips.
    3. If they answer doing flips, immediately ask them to spar.
    4. When they back down.. and they will back down (broken bones mean no flips for weeks) ask them how a flip is more extreme if they are willing to do that but unwilling to do a friendly spar?

Reminds me of, and I can't find it Damn it, the two cyclists the get in a fight.

I mean the really skinny fuckers that start slapping each other. It was so funny!

That's what XMA reminds me of.

*If anyone has a link to that one plz post it.

    And I would have applauded.

Seriously Kage... your ninja senses should be tingling about the lameness of XMA. Hell, I'm nearly a year removed from active ninja duty and I still get the feeling.
