Thanks guys I am actually kinda surprised myself that I didn't recognize Carruther's from that video. I've seen some of his stuff before.
I probably wouldn't have posted it but it seemed like their were irregularities in the video itself, thats probably just me being paranoid.

Edit: Also of the stuff of Bruce Lee's that I've seen I don't remember even HIM moving that fast.

Here's another interview with Jesse Glover (one of Bruce Lee's original students) where he talks about Tommy reminding him of Bruce. I think the interview is cool 'cause he cuts through the bs about Bruce and talks about what he really trained in. He also has some great comments on Bullshido ranking and how it pertains to running a business Mcdojo.

One good thing that came out of me watching that was finding midget muay thai: http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/1683720/

Indeed, but I don't really know if that qualifies as bullshit, I mean after all, they are REALLY midget boxing. It is not fake midget boxing.

A careful check of Bullshido could have had you watching that video over 12 hours ago. http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=33629

edit: damn! I hadn't watched the midget clip yet. he's got good balance!

I think this would suit you well in a street fight. Standing face to face, both peeps with the hands down - and then wam - first strike - the person would never see it coming. If it's a clean shot, you don't need too much power.

    Ah, so thats Tommy Caruthers.

I read an artical on that someone posted on MAP not too long ago. Hes a fucking moron who had some of the most moronic conclusions I've read, especially considering hes trying to make himself sound intelligent in a rebuttle of grappling in "real" fighting.

As kid said hes got fast hands, its just a shame hes got no power behind any of those shots. If I need someone to swat a fly for me, I'll give him a call.

Why does he hit himself every time he moves. Does making strike noises mean its good? Is it to impress the crowd?

I was wondering the same thing about those noises, some of them sound almost like the old Chop-Sockey movie sound effects don't they?
