Yes. Many bujinkan techniques are developed for use in armour. This may be why they don't try and take away the opponents space in the same way that wrestlers do. Maybe you need that extra room for the armour. Back in my nutriding days I used to think that if the technqiues worked in armour, then they must be even better without it.
