Didn't see the show. Want to see the show. But this site has a different list:
The Winchester ’73
The long-bow
The pike
The Kalashnikov AK47
The "Schwerer Gustav"
The Tommy Gun
The rapier
The Walther PPK
Hands and feet
The boomerang

If i have to make the list
1. Duh human mind.
2. Sword (any type) Sword are pretty much a cultural universal.
If that is not specific enough for you then the Gladius.
3. MG34 German machine gun which is the template for most modern MGs
4. Long bow Revolutionized feudal combat.
5. Pike
6. Spear Mam's first constructed weapon. Dont take hand axe **** to me, it isnt constructed unless it has two seperate peices incorporated into one.
7. 1911a1. not the first semi-auto pistol but certanly the gold standard.
8. Arcubus
9. which ever mauser has the original mauser action..... Cant look it up at work
10. Tazer. Makeing combat less deadly for the 21st century.
These are all hand held/personal weapons list would be different if we include weapon system/ vehicles/nukes
Tell me what you think?

Tanks were worthless in WW1 (so were planes), and weren't nearly as revolutionary as the machine gun. The machine gun forced a massive change in tactics, because the old rank and file armies would be shot to pieces. Tanks just picked up the job that heavy cavalry couldn't fulfill anymore.
Same reason the airplane is on the list, over the tank; a complete revision of warfare. -

I saw that list tryign to find out what the one I was missing was, but couldn't remember some of those being on the show? (The Winchester and the Gustav, but I specifically remember the Berret being there)
