I have The Art of War. It's been about as helpful to my martial arts as it has been to every other aspect of my lfie. By that I mean it hasn't been.

I've got the Book of Five Rings as well, but I haven't cracked it open yet. It's pretty far down on my list of things to read.

I always condidered The Art of War to be a "browsing book." Pick it up, read a chapter, put it down. I've read it once through in order, but I liked reading it out of order much more.

"Angry White Pyjamas" by Robert Twigger

AD&D 2nd Edition Players Guide & Oriental Adventures.

Just about as useful as any other books listed.

I suppose my encyclopedia set would make an interesting weight training tool.

Not necessary for MA, but a good book that is her take on a much older obscure work that is in Chinese that even Chinese people have a hard time with.
