    Glock: Rule 34

    My new Law Enforcement special Glock 34 FINALLY came in!

    Salutations to Shiva who wears a serpent as garland, who is three-eyed, whose bare body is covered with ashes, who is forever pure and the very embodiment of sacrifice and who looks bitchin' with a Glock at his feet.

    Oh, and I got a little shamelessly patriotic bling for it too:

    Came with 3 magazines (tacticat not included):

    Carved out port on the top of the receiver to lower weight:

    Unfortunately, I won't get to shoot it until at least Monday since I have OCS this weekend and EMT class tonight.

    I have a "normal" Glock 17 and I see that this one is also in 9mm. What's the main difference to the standard 17?

    Excellent double-entendre, Phrost.

    @Prone, it's a 34, so it's twice as good as a 17?

    Glock 34 has a longer barrel.

    And I see the carved out portion making it lighter, too. Phrost: When you have time, let us know how well it works. I have a real problem with lighter barrels tbh, especially when firing doubles in an IPSC competition. I need every extra weight to make it work for me.

    Awesome pistol, Phrost!

    Also, Prone, your avatar is mind fucking me. I can't read your posts unless they're in Jason Statham's voice.

    Yeah, the longer barrel makes it a lot more accurate, or rather, makes it easier for someone to be accurate with it.

    I've got Magpul's "Art of the Dynamic Handgun" sitting around, which I'm going to give a watch in conjunction with shooting this guy.

    Yeah, I heard about those DVDs, haven't seen them myself though. I think my father was about to get the series for his firing training. Might check it then and put it to the test on the range.

    Since I only train MP I try to implement stress into the training whenever possible. Would love to see how they do it. Just screaming at someone is usually not enough when working with soldiers ;)

    Sorry to derail the gun-pr0n thread, btt.

    Magpul Dynamics rocks. I want to pick up all of their videos at some point. Chris Costa really knows his stuff.
