so I need to ammend this a little and ask if y'all know any good guns UNDER 500 bucks. I can't even begin to think about being able to afford some 2k monster gun... maybe I've thought about it, but that is beside the point.
that 1911 compact looks nice even though I will never be able to buy it.

Glock, used should go for about $450, especially at a gun show.

If you are looking to save a bit of $ look into buying used. From a gun show or even the pawn shops. For some reason spring = people pawning their guns. In West Virginia you can get a Used Glock fro $200-$250. I saw a Used Ruger P95 for $250 and a S&W 9VE Sigma for $250.

Does S&W make those little snub-nosed revolvers in huge calibers?
I always wanted one in .45 or something stupid like that. *shrug* Just because.
edit: did a search, found lots of antique revolvers in .45, and stuff like the S&W 625, but nothing tiny like a police special. meh.
edit2: Oh, Snap!
