Problems finding Ammo
I'm an unhappy guy in need of rumor control/verification.
I went to the range 2 weeks ago. on the way I stopped off to buy some ammo. I went to academy sports to buy some 7.62 X 39. Shelves were empty.
The same manufacturer had a shelf full 5.56. The guy at the counter said that supply was short and he couldnt keep it on the shelf more than 1 hour.
At the range the range owner hadnt had any in 2 months.
Last week I could find a single box in the whole city of Austin for $14!!!!
My going rumors are:
1) Monarch is merging with Winchester so there is speculative buying.
2) Venezuala has bought 1 million old SKS's and a ton of ammo. The world market is adjusting.
Anybody here know what the real deal is? I dont understand why I cant buy the most common ammo in the world in Texas.
It's messing with my practice schedual I HATE going under 1,000 rounds in the house.

Depends on what firearms its for. Some go through ammo very quickly.
I only keep about 100 (50/hollow point 50/Black Talons) in my apt.
What firearm you do have antifa?

Sorry, I bought all the ammo. I'd sell you some, but I really need every last bullet.
