    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Judo dojo in/near Sherman Oaks, CA?

I have a cousin living in Sherman Oaks who is a single mom looking for some self defense. I've got her talked out of quick fix "women's self defense" courses.

She is on board with trying out Judo and is pretty athletic, so if anyone knows of a good place to train in or near Sherman Oaks, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any information, it's very appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time Method,

I looked around some too. I was actually just fishing on the off chance someone could give a personal recommendation for somewhere they were familiar with.

The three closest dojos to my house are either impossible or very difficult to track down online, so I'm throwing it out there in case a local pipes up.

I found one dojo website, but it's a little far from her.

Have you tried look at YMCA's. Thatís usually where I find Judo classes being thought. Maybe on College or University campuses.

Also, have you thought about other styles, Wrestling or BJJ perhaps?

Here are addresses for Enshin: The style is a mix of Karate and Judo.

I'm going to take this opportunity to plug my style.
