Honestly, Thai Shorts never looked good. Or well I think they look like **** anyways. (Although I could wear theese for laughs: http://www.muaythaistuff.com/product...t_ID=RAJ-RTB85 ).
I've tried ankle supports, they do trick me not to put my heels down but I guess that's more my mind than anything else. They do give some support but I just can't find a reason to wear them (well maybe to aviod getting scratched by one of the straps of my shin-guards. I'm a *****, I know ;P).

At my club they make you wear a pair of BRIGHT YELLOW Muay Thai shorts, until you become a fighter.

the only guy i can think of at our club who is a "poser" in the fashion sense is a guy who has hot pink gloves, shinguards and headgear (distracting as ****) and tassles on his shorts. uses mozart as his ring entrance music. he is also one of the best amateur fighters in NZ and has -the- hottest girlfriend so he must be doing something right

I like ankle wraps because they keep my feet warm...serious...I can't stand my feet being cold.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
