I took the Britard thing in the context that they tried to outlaw pointy kitchen knives, and have already outlawed most firearms.

I thought he was talking to my reference of them being a "steal" and then talking about good metallurgy.

Or that he knew I also enjoy boar hunting (boer).

Regardless, I DO have this rifle and it's SWEET. And the Britard thing was sorta tongue-in-cheek. Britain used to be pretty bad ass. It's a shame their own people can't even own their own surplus weaponry.

Ah! Joke now understood and appreciated. I used to live near the factory where they made those guns. Afghans apparently still use them and even Martini Henries (as seen in Zulu), they're so well made. It's odd we now make utter **** like the SA80.

And speaking of self-defence, here's who to blame in the UK if you get done for beating up a burglar. He's a tosser, as are most people in the Labour party, but that goes without saying.
