    negative training at yellowbelt? dont they just go through the basics at yellow? i think that the basic stuff in a lot of arts are usually the most practical... its when you get past a certain level that they start to make up **** and bullshit you...

    Hypothetically speaking (taking ninjutsu out of the equation), if a style is impractical overall, then its basics are going to reflect this 9 times out of 10. Styles don't just suddenly "go all to ****" when you hit green belt. Impracticality STARTS at the fundamental level.
