    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Maurice Smith listed JKD as his style as he won MT belt after belt. He was still listing it when we won the UFC's heavyweight title.

Randy Coutre (a champion wrestler) crosstrained at Matt Thornton's Straight Blast Gym in JKD to learn standup. He became one of the longest reigning titleholders in the UFC afterwards. To be fair, Matt dropped WC trapping for Greco Roman clinching and takedowns in their school because of Randy and Dan Henderson's influence. (JKD was always meant to evolve.)

Erik Paulson listed JKD as his style when he won Shooto titles.

    That is all.

stop making stupid **** up, it offends me, Bruce AND the Shaolin temple.

Officially he only declared one of his students a teacher of his style which was that phillipino guy or whatever i don't know his name.
His "style" is "no style". He just didn't want to leave Inosanto a big nobody, which is how bruce found him.

Nobody is making you read my thread mate, if you don't want to you don't have to.
I love your thread. As I said before, Bruce is the one who thinks it sucks.

Sounds like a rumor to me, he learnt only a small part of the system. Also he wasn't taught the inch punch (the traditional one, i'm aware he did the 'inch-punch' but this was his own version which he taught himself) because as a student he had a bad attitude. Note this is not MY opinion so flaming me is pretty pointless, i'm only recounting what happened. It was his teachers that held this view.

No need to make fun of the guy.

Your whole post is full of rumors.

How the hell do you refute rumors with rumors? That is just stupid.

Baji, Hsing-I, and many other arts have the dreaded 1 and 3 inch punch. Hell boxing has it you see it when someone is knocked out with a jab.

t was never called 1 inch and 3 inch punch until BL coined the phrase. A better term is short power.

Oh man, you are so gonna get schooled here. Everything you said was heresay. Not a word of it has any substantial proof. Yet despite that you insist that what you are saying is fact. It's probably just the opinions of other people you have heard or just a bunch of rumor mongering from your own WTF sensei/sifu.

The people here at bullshido like to dwell on imperical evidence, not a bunch of useless heresay.

Wasn't his fight with chuck norris in Way/Return of the Dragon showed a bit of WC? The trap/hit, chain-punches are distinctly Wing Chun.

Unless it's a movie about me...

(in which case it's a martial arts comedy - Sanshiro Sugata meets Woody Allen)
