Anyone got EOTechs?
I got ACOG's on my AR's, and was thinking of swapping them out for some EOTECH gear with some infrared setup.
Anyone got anything to say, good or bad?Originally Posted by Sifu Rudy Abel

You wanna trade a Trijicon for a EOTech?
What do you want to mount them on - EOTech is best suited to SMGs. They have ZERO magnification.
Those ACOGs are TOP OF THE LINE. The optics, the tridium, everything on them is perfect. If you're packing a 1.5x magnification, you might have a limited field of view, but if you are using them at intended AR range (>25m) they will outperform the EOTech sights every time. Stick with the Trijicon. I'm not saying EOTech isn't cool, but Trijicon is cooler.

Well, I was thinking of swapping out the ACOG TA01 I have on my Bushmaster A4 Shortie. As I'm thinking of making it a CQB rifle, and leave the 7.62 as my reach out and touch someone piece.Originally Posted by Sifu Rudy Abel

If you want a CQB piece then the EOTech will do better than the ACOG, though for that purpose I've always been a fan of the dreaded lasersight.

I like how you left the remote control in the shot.

No, but I have an Aimpoint on my AR. I prefer it to EoTech..
