Phrost, don't do that to an AK 47, you're killing it's soul if you do. That weapon is designed to be very simplistic and basic - by putting all that western equipment on it, you're confusing it. If you want to do that to a soviet weapon, do it to a Nikonov or an AK-101.

Yeah, but it's also a practical matter for me. I could rice out the AK, or spend an extra grand on an AR-15 in .308 before buying all the necessary accessories. At some point that'll be an option, but at the moment I can't justify the expense.
