Good. Maybe they'll start training like him too.

Wake me up when he fights someone with a winning record that he hasn't already KOed in san shou.

Impressive striking and good kicks. I would like to see how he handles a takedown as well.

I would like to see how he handles a good opponent.

I respect the fact that he needs some warm up fights before he fights anyone really talented, but I'm not giving him the "2nd coming of Jesus" title until I see a little more out of him.

Cung Le doesnīt want to take anyone down, he wants to keep the fights standing because thats where heīs strongest. So we wonīt be seeing a lot his famed takedowns in MMA.

Or maybe he could pull off some throws and still be standing himself next to a downed opponent and attack him from there like Sakuraba did to all the Gracieīs. That would be pretty cool. He will do well in MMA Iīm sure.

I predict that Cung Le will lose in MMA if he fights anyone good. After that, he'll go back to fighting tomato cans in his San Shou venue.

Cung needs to test his grappling. Fight a grappler who sucks basically. Someone who's gonna take him down but isn't a world class grappler. It will let him know where he stands, and what he needs to improve.

In his K-1 San Shou career, he is/was the only name. No one else actually competed in just San Shou. So, he could afford to only fight tomato cans, because there were no other "names". In MMA, he won't last long either way. If he fights someone good, he'll lose. If he doesn't fight anyone good, his MMA career will die.

His only chance is to actually get good.
