MistaKickz, this forum is essentially a hazing and insulting ground. Basically don't take anything here without a pound of salt, and look for the intelligent discussion. This place is quite worth it, if you get set petty insults aside.

Cmon now man.. Lucio Aurelio is Brazil's TKD champ. Even if you didn't know that, look how he knocked out his first opponet! He started bouncing on the balls of his feet and KOed him with a jump spin heel.. That's not TKD? Well either way it's a fact that he's a TKD fighter.

Like I said I'm not bothered by small insults. Just letting him know that. But yeah, I've realized that this the place to go to bash other styles. I've known that for a while.

    Well I will be damned!

That is true, he did win a bunch of TKD stuff. I had no idea.

however, you don't get to claim as a TKDist every person who once took it or uses a spinning back kick!

(I was looking for his name with the accent marks and getting only things in portugese)

I can never kick high enough with the spinning back kick, I usually just end up back kicking my opponent in the goolies. Anyways, I'm sure other martial arts practice that kick.

Johnny that's true.. I saw a Muay Thai fighter use a spin heel kick in Thailand. It wasnt that great but I was shocked to see it. Mjelva, people always pull of spin kicks. Like I said it's about the timing. You don't go in there and throw a spin kick right away. You'll be very lucky if you hit. But yea Danno, that's a good fight. The TKD was succesful because he crosstrains with Kyuktooki (basically Korea's version of Muay Thai).
