Heck, I live 1/2 mile away from the NRA's HQ. If you ever have a chance, check out their musuem, its free and quite interesting. Plus there is a 100 yard range under the building.

If I didn't have to use the Beltway to get to work I would be living in Virginia.

That and I am training in Frederick.

Ok I been to the range a few times.

After being to the range a few times. I got Couple things:

    1. I noticed my shot goes low. When I practice my double tap it goes somtach to neck, instead of chest to head. I think it cause I am antisipating the shot and adjusting down.

    2. Asking a question for clearing jams. On the range I was told just to wait 30 second (in case for a late fire). Then if it doesn't fire, just pull back the slide. I guess just let it fall out?

For the str33t hit the mag or take that mag in and out and pull back the slide and hit the slide release.

Don, SFGOON I just wanted to know what you guys do for jams.

PS. My Baby Eagle has yet to jam :)

    Tap, roll, rack.

Tap; whack the magazine into place.

    If that doesn't work...

Roll the gun to the side and rack the slide (so the errant round will fall out).

    If that doesn't work....

Drop the mag and rack the slide.

That should cover the different kinds of jams.

90% of failures are caused by magazine malfunctions. When your weapon jams, take cover, slide the rack, watch the round fall out, release the rack, aim, and shoot.

For AR series weapons the Army uses SPORTS

    Slap the magazine

Pull the slide to the rear

    Observe the round being ejected

    Release the slide

Tap the forward assist (your pistol doens't have one, but if it did)

    aim and Squeeze the trigger.
