Looking at that empty spare magazine holder in your sexy thigh holster makes me wonder if you bothered to get spare mags.

If you didn't you should. Practicing reload drills is important. You should be able to do it in the dark. Drop the mag (let it fall to the ground,) snach another one out of wherever you carry them slam it home and release the slide. Do it standing, kneeling, prone, and on your back. Remember to mentally rehearse taking cover before you do this. A good time to shoot for is 2.5 seconds from empty mag to reload.

Thigh holsters are pretty LARPtastic but I dont care i want one anyways. I collect guns because they're cool, not for practicallity.

    Have you shot it yet?

Honestly, if you're on a tac team or an LEO there's nothing wrong with a thigh holser. You can snatch a sidearm out of them so goddamned fast it'll make you head spin, and your pistol wont get in the way when you bend over, sit, etc.

But for someone who carries conealed and isn't in the military or LE, it's just a goofy way to spend 70$. You could have purchased an excellent concealed holster with that much money. Not as sexy, but fifty times and functional.

It should be noted that I have a preference for function over form. Just look at my wife.

I recommend a bandolier with that holster.
