Punisher-I'm a big believer in many love affairs as opposed to a few longterm ones so its prolly for the best! But y'all right could be a problem...

I was thinking in terms of years, not months. With any luck you'll have good Judoka and/or wrestlers to train with, and it won't be an issue.

Ah I see. Fair enough- if I can't find grapplers of various backgrounds @ a BJJ class I'm not meant to find them. I certainly won't be putting anything less than years in- else why bother?
Thanks for your help guys, I'm pretty much sold on BJJ for the win. Club seems good enough, I'll be finding out everything for sure soon enough.

I'm letting this stay here since any thread that signs someone up for BJJ can be forgiven for other faults.

I've rolled with some GB guys from Brazil, they were pretty hardcore.
If you're worried about takedowns, take some no-gi classes. Usually (at least in my case) they're taught by a wrestler type who likes to go over takedowns every class. The reason being that in no-gi there's a much better chance for a scramble, someone getting to their knees, and/or standing. Takedowns are far more vital to the no-gi game.
