My TKD teacher officially can't grapple

Well I know I would expect him to teach TKD and not jam crappling down his students' throats. But maybe that's just me. I mean, Kengou's time is being wasted! No, that's not a TKD crack. He goes to TKD to learn TKD, not to be told to work the instructor's crappling techniques. That's fucking BS!

That's why I said "What did you expect?" I mean he's taking TKD not grappling. His teacher will of course not know how to grapple because TKD doesn't teach that. I just thought that if he wanted to improve his overall skill as a fighter he would have to take something other than TKD.

Actually, I could send you to some decent TKD teachers who could teach you grappling.

The school teaches mostly TKD, some heavy bag work and sparring, but also occasionally we do self-defense, ground techniques, throws, etc.

He does take something else though. He's a BJJ white belt (see Style Field). Just a misunderstanding between us, then. Still, it sucks that he has to get "t3h d34dly cr4ppl1ng" foisted on him. I guess just suck it up and don't let him give you any bad habits, Kengou. Or go find another school that focuses strictly on standup. Although, it sounds like this is your only complaint with your school. You know, I have to say I'm surprised no one played the "that's what you get with TKD" card yet... and we're already on page 3. :new_silly
