Although this thread is mostly in jest you guys have to realize that I've run into too many boxers in my life to let these things go. I used to get my ass kicked by boxers (isn't cross training a wonderful thing). The bottome line is I'm not a boxer. Yet all these guys think they're the baddest men around when they go toe to toe with a "blackbelt" or "Kickboxer" or a "MMA" guy. But when they come into my world it's a different story. At least when I box against boxers I can leave with my head intact, these guys can't stand more than 1 round with me. :mumum: Yet all I heard for years was how a boxer would do this or how Mike Tyson that. **** them.

I think that's left over from the bad old days. In boxing you're hitting and getting hit and in "martial arts" that's kind of new. A lot of people haven't caught on that "martial arts" isn't just a pony-tailed fat guy point sparring joke anymore
But I 100% believe the best fighters are in boxing. That is where the most money is. I mean, where are most of the top MMA guys? Pride. Why? Money. You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

Leading up to that kickboxing match Arthur Williams had gone 5-7 in his last 12 boxing matches including losing a lopsided decision to Charles Davis who had a 7-8-1 record at the time.
