It was on Free Ride. Which is a terrible show, but it better then watching paint dry. Literally, I was spay painting and it was drying.
He does a MMA match, and learned Karate from the Internet. Then he gets his ass beat (arm broken). Then go learns BJJ from the books. To quote him, "That style is awesome, their legs like cobras". Then he goes to he back and the guys just kicks him around and beats him down.. Then you get the
"Dude you have to train up for this sort of thing over time. You can't just try to learn martial arts over the internet."
To which the battered guy says "You're right, I need to get a broadband connection." -

The show in question was "free Ride." The character "Dove" demonstrates BJJ in a previous episode as well, he explains to his new buddy that 95% of all fights go to the ground and takes down one of his buddies. In this week’s episode he also talks about Guatemalan Jiu Jitsu, he says "Those Jews know how to fight"
Funny quotes, but the show will likely be canceled cause it's painful too watch at times. I read somewhere that almost half of the show is pure improv, this might explain some of the suckiness.
