    haha you look great.

what i think is worse than cuts and bruises is concussion. i hate the feeling... the flashes during contact, the ringing ears, the loss of control, etc. plus i know some brain cells are gone.

you know, if you get hit enough then your head will become a perfect sphere:

What I love most about the pics is the goofy smile. (I will start to giggle on occasion when I take some shots).

Regardless of outcome, you obviously enjoyed yourself. Kudos!

I would like to point out that, even though you feel you were "pounded", you have no cuts and no significant swelling - only a few scuff marks and a shiner. No ref stoppage, no real damage to your pretty face - not bad. .A touch of vasalene smeared on your face before the fight would probably have prevented most of the scuff marks, and ice 15 mins on, 15 mins off would have probably stopped the shiner.

So yeh anyways, I lost last night after getting ground and pounded to a decision. Fun stuff. I'm a little surprised that the ref didnt stop it considering it went on for about 7 and a half minutes, I suppose I must have been adequately defending myself at least, if not making much real progess in escaping. I'm also a little surprised that getting hit doesnt hurt as much as I thought it would.

    Video forthcoming.

    ....I need a vacation.
Those photos came out awesome Kat, what a progression!

Losing sux, but if it doesnt kill you it just makes you stronger. Scary though because you are already pretty goddamn strong. Was great meeting you and I admire you just as much even though you didnt get the win.

She did have vasalene on her face.
And I don't think anything could have stopped THAT shiner..
