isn't it kinda the same deal with the UFC though?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. The UFC tends to favor people that are aggressive, but they don't seem to favor any particular race.

Japanese organizations tend to favor Japanese fighters in a fairly heavyhanded way. I didn't think this was groundbreaking news.

i watch more UFC than pride, so maybe i haven't seen the full brunt of it... but it's quite obvious that they not only favour jap fighters, but seem to let them continue longer after they are injured.

though, pride has a fairly international list of fighters, while the UFC is more or less an american affair. i'm not saying they make decisions which favour american fighters the same way the japs favour japs.

Unlike Pride the UFC is ALMOST always USA vs USA... so favoritism sorta isn't an issue...

Phil Baroni is a total tool. He always fucking gases and he still hasn't realized that all that muscle needs some type of energy source to move it.

Big muscles does not make you a good fighter.
I'll make one when I can find one I like.

Well he has knocked out 3 tough Japanese fighters in Pride now, so he must be doing something right.

    Kang by submission, fucken eh!

This guy would be huge if he'd only get some air time and ppl could actually see him fight. He's a friggen god in Korea. But Korean MMA doesn't get too much coverage I guess.

I'm a pretty big Kang fan as well. He's really solid. Hopefully he'll keep racking up the wins and someone will decide to give him a title shot.
