    Aikido!!

Sport VS. Martial Arts?? Please. The rules alone limit a boxer. You can't take rules out onto the street.

I would daresay a professional boxer, would have a lesser chance than an amatuer. To many years under rules.

Oh now that is just absurd. You are saying that Mike Tyson or Roy Jones could not dispatch 90% of the Aikido balck belts around? That is just nuts, really. Aikido is a good art, my current instructor teaches Aikido in addition to Judo (he teaches the style taught by Karl Geis) and sure it is effective but again there are too many variables to this arguement. And I still, with all due respect, think the boxer has the advantage due to conditioning and knowing what is like to get hit.

I'm afraid not. A yellow belt aikidoka could destroy Tyson.

I think the boxer's metacarpals would explode after the Aikidoka applied the wristlock, then the boxer would be flung to the ground like a sack of turnips.

And not just the washed-up Tyson, but Tyson in his prime.

There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice.

Please. Boxers sweat they are heathens. 4 ounces deflects 1000lbs.

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

Haha you're all wrong. An aikidoka would just use his harmony with the universe to difuse the situation, thus averting the violent confrontation!

It's impossible to determine who would win since all styles are equal! Clearly its up to the individuals!
