What do you guys think of the "mentality" argument that jfs used to bring up? Do you guys agree with it? Do you think that a guy with bad intentions has an advantage over a sport fighter who's not used to trying kill every guy he's up against?
I personally don't think so unless the "s7r337 f1gh73r" has a serious size and strength advantage or is amped up on amphetamines or some other stimulant. And even then, I think that a well rounded sport fighter has a reasonable chance of coming out on top. -

Totally. I imagine that the origin of athletics generally was to try to find safe(r) ways for the warriors of the tribe to test their skills and see who was the Big Dog without too much spilled blood.
