From personal experience, I can say that the Wooden Cooking Spoon is the ulitimate weapon when weilded by an angry Italian mama.

I like how he says the wooden spoon causes confusion and disorientation. I think I would be pretty confused if the guy had a spoon on him, and tried to pinch my nipple with it... but disorientation? So you hit someone with a spoon and they don't know where they are anymore...

I also find it funny that when he 'locks' the guys arm with the spoon, he can potentially incapacitate the guys ONE arm, while he holds the spoon with BOTH his arms... Isnt that sort of a disadvantage. Well, I guess the guy would be disoriented and unable to use his other hand cause of the immense pain...

The wrist lock with the spoon looks reasonable enough... The other guy doesn't seem able to use his other arm with the wrist locked the way it is. just that a wooden spoon is a retarded weapon(yes much like myself).
Nice stick technique though.

Maybe this guy is just trying to illustrate, through lite humour, that anything can be used to defend yourself.
