There is a guy around here who gives out belts in MMA too. Has no record of his own, never studied with anyone real but tries to keep the mommies and daddies happy by giving out belts. Kinda sad.

Now that i see his picture, i do know him. He used to be a cop and for the longest time he was an instructor to cops. He also runs this thing "clinic" of how to do martial arts on fiml, he'll teach you all the "trade secrets" (bullshit) of how to make a punch or a kick seem "real on the scree". I have always known him to be just a karate guy, i guessn now he is a MMA guy. And the guy is so fat and out of shape that he can bearly walk.

I also think that he might be a judo guy as well. I guess he figures; karate + judo = MMA

I'll have one of my students call him up and find out about his MMA classes and his MMA record.
