If they judge by who "wins" and the guys he's fighting are other students he teaches/trains with, you think they'd go a little easy on him? I mean, depending the person, someone might feel bad blowing someone elses BB test for them because they took advantage of the guy while he was winded.

I am not so sure people would take it easy on him. If you take it easy, you might be the one ending up getting hurt or on the floor. Always protect yourself... always protect yourself. Remember, the other guy is looking for a knockout kick to the head and not really thinking about just passing the test. Plus, it is more along the lines of a type of unwritten code to do your best. No one wants to see wimpy punches to the ribs and flailing kicks.

Actually I've heard that some places bring in external people for black belt high-rank gradings. I'm not sure how common this is in Kyokushin but it happens in quite a few martial arts.
Rad ki was made up by adolescents. I do not know who created trad ki but it was not made by adolescents. your an ass dude, Im not being a little bitch you are, your past the level of a bitch. Your beyond Bitch! If im easting my time with ki and psi, then your wasting time to prove frauds, and all **** like that! -theoutsider

Kick boxing is ok, but don't expect do beat a man like Rickson Gracie with that. You need a real martial art. You need Xing Yi Quan. -Emptyflower

The splits, how ever, have a few martial uses. Doing the splits for me, can put my fists in testical strike range.

dont ignore the Art for the Martial or else your just kick boxing

Yes i am serious, there are kicks that can block punches. we have them in Moo duk kwan.
I want to learn how to use them in case my arm gets broken in a fight.
what would you have me do? if my arm gets broke, not block punches? -sempi-stone

That makes sense, your more likely to get an "honest", test rather than have your own people go easy on you towards the end.

So is this dojo affiated with the "Crips" or the "Bloods"? or some other gang?

Isn't a beat down how you gain memebership?
People often tell me that I fail to see the gravity of the situation.
I see the gravity, and I say...

Step right up folks and watch me defy gravity!

God damn, is KK rules including punches to the face, it would produce some amazing fighters...I'm sure it does already, but it looked like they just disregard protecting their face alot. Still seems like a great place to study.

They seem to always be looking from the neck-down.

On second viewing, I'de love to find a Dojo that had training like that around here. Looks great.
