    ninjado, ninja-do

i see people are skeptical about ninja-do. I practise ninja-do, and would like to voice out my feelings.

basically, ninja-do has nothing to do with ninjutsu. Although some people at the top of NAS( ninja-do association singapore) try to make it more "ninja". It is actually mixed martial arts. there are moves from karate, judo etc.

On previous threads, some people are linking ninja-do to ninjutsu. saying it is a fraud, real ninjutsu is taught under whatever-kan school. But ninja-do's name comes from its chinese name. the word ninja-do is translated from the chinese " ren zhe dao"..

You can say ninja-do is bullshit or whatever, but can you really grade a martial art? can you say karate is better than tae-kwon-do? or aikido better than muay thai? I think it all boils down to the individual. If one learns the ultimate martial art( if it exists) but has no passion for it, and does not practise. would he be a better martial artist than a person who trains hard in ninja-do?

By the way, way do people want to learn ninjutsu? they wanna rob a bank?

Definitely needs some proof, how about links, websites, references to documentation etc.

Are there books in libraries that reference ninja-do? Real books, the kind not written by the instructor, you know history books....

Why would they translate the name from Chinese to Japanese? why would it have moves from karate and judo if it is of Chinese origin?

At the very least, on this board(and most places) mixed martial arts is not what you are describing, Uncle Chen's 6 month of karate, mixed with his yellow belt judo + he read 2 books on ninjas, so now we are unbeatable sounds like a better description. Unless I misunderstood you.

How 'bout "**** off and die". Real martial arts have real proof attatched to it, not fantasy bullshit.

Ah...it isn't too difficult to say certain Martial Arts are better than others and is only slightly less difficult to prove which are actually effective. Please provide video evidence of your "MMA" Ninja-do in action or at least a website.

Winterz, you do realize that you have just brought the weight of the internet down on your sensei right? This thread that will completely pick apart everything about the history and integrity of your master will be here forever, and you created it.....

    Kagega Ryu Ninja-do Web Site

Our head instructor has a strong background in Ninjutsu and various other Japanese and Chinese martial arts.
There is much fodder on that webside.

    Let the "Bullshido effect" begin.

"Sifu Ma Tai Eng founded Ninja-Do in the 1970s. His successor is now Grandmaster Carter Wong, a popular martial artist during the 1960s and 1970s."

Is this the same carter wong that was in big trouble in little china?

The same carter wong that started the martial art called "peaceful people"?

The same carter wong that got his ass kicked in the 1978 kyokushinkai world championships when he tried to use wing chun against Sato?

The same carter wong that dissabled an unmarked police vehicle with a bannana in the tail pipe?

Ya, these guys look like killers:
