Actually, I'm pretty sure he is doing accupressure to UB 57. This point quickly relieves calf cramps. You know how n00b grapplers often get cramped calves when they start rolling? this point will relieve them.

At least I hope thats what hes doing - if its dim mak, i don't think its working.

At the risk of getting horribly flamed, I gotta say a few things.

Most finger/wrist locks aren't really supposed to be used in straight up fights. Ya I know, sounds like a cop out.

But I use them, effectively, when kicking guys out of concerts. It's a good way to restraint someone. I'd never waste my time with them if the guy is still swinging for my head though. Granted I've never used/learned any of the ones on this thread, cuz most of them are crappy, but good ones do work in certain situations.

True that small join manipulation can be useful, but why some people center entire styles around them is beyond me.
