1: The fact that Renzo only hurt his knee would lead me to believe that he took the fight to whoever it was that provoked him.

2: Royce training in HKD- well, whether this is true or not, I dont know if this is something that I'd brag about- Royce's striking game is pretty bad- hes absolutely no threat when hes on his feet and only uses it to bridge the gap to the ground game.

Once on Pride, Bas Rutten interviewed Royce about the possible feuds between Chute Boxe and BTT.

Royce said 'Don't ask me man! I don't know about that Brazil stuff! I'm an American.'

Lets hear the "MMA, Muay Thai & BJJ is all you need" guys explain this one away.

A MMA allstar is now training in Hapkido ? Now Hapkido will be the trendy thing.
Since when was Royce the MMA allstar of anything?
He hasn't been a major player for 12 fucking years.

Why would to you train Hapkido for stand-up? Striking's not it's specialty.

I heard the Nono thing before, but that was supposedly for training in kickboxing, not HKD.

Yrkoon, have you seen the Renzo interview, or is that just "through the grapevine"?

Jitsuman, how do you know Matt Serra? The guy I was arguing with also claims to have talked to people who know Renzo.

Does anyone have pro membership at MMA.tv? I don't, but would appreciate a search on this stuff over there. Some quotables from Renzo or Royce himself would go a long way toward setting the record straight. (Also since I don't post there, I'm hesitant to register just to ask these questions.)
