morote gari is legal. What isn't legal is doing it off a traditonal wrestling shot. Same with the single.

    A bit Off-Topic... Sorry
Would paying $85 dollars/month for 2 days a week training under a Royler Gracie/David Adiv affiliated Purple Belt be a "decent price"?

I figured I would post here since the original post was about going to a Judo or a BJJ school, which is what I'm trying to decide on before my mom lets me try them out/start during Spring Break.

I wish the thread author the best of luck in his decision

That's on the expensive side for 2x a week with a purple IMO. Where are you located? Point being it would be understandable if you were in New York, San Francisco, London or Hawaii where the cost of living is high.

If I was teaching on my own, I'd charge $40 or $50 a month for 2x a week here in Austin. Basically about half of what my instructor, a second degree BB, charges.
Shut the hell up and train.

    "Decent" or "comprable"?
They mean two different things in the context of bjj.
It isn't too far off of standard pricing but is still pretty absurd. If it were for more days a week it would be more in line.

Yeah, I live in NJ, so I don't know what the standard pricing of lessons is, sorry.
