"This was the kind of arrogance that is exhibited by the jaundiced-minded sweater-vested conservative political science major who keeps a plastic wrapped signed copy of the Karl Rove issue of Time magazine on his person at all times and boasts of his future as a conservative strategist walking in the glorious footsteps of said architect of misery. "
BS. Aikidoka are tree hugging, Birkinstock wearing, brie eating, "can't we just all get along" ACLU members. No Karl Rove fan would be caught dead in an Akido Dojo. Look for them in boxing gyms and BJJ clubs. -

PARAGRAPHS PLEASE!!!!!!
Other than that, very witty.Who, for Pete’s sake! Is opposing science? In fact, we want MORE science by CRITICALLY ANALIZING the evidence-Connie Morris, Kansas State BOE (bolding and underlining part of original quote, red is my emphasis)
As long as you try to treat your subjective experiences as if they were objective experiences, you will continue to be confounded by people who disagree with you.-some guy on an internet messageboard -

Where is this school and what's it called?
Yea I remember I wanted to spar an Akido teacher once to see if it was worth joining...though his dangerous art didn't allow him to do so without me signing this consent forum...along with a 3 month membership. Though the free class was fun...kinda. -

For a start, "i" is capitalized when refering to yourself. I realize you are a foreigner [Stop that!--Ed]--sorry, I have a lot of friends in Canada I tease--but you may wish to post first in a word-processing program that can "auto" fix things like that.
Not to be a "Grammar Nazi," it is just that punctuation, capitalization, and paragraph breaks make reading easier. Also, we all make mistakes. I have learned to write my long-winded screeds "off-line" for that very reason.
Perhaps you can edit your original post or re-post it?
This does remind me of many years ago a very eager Aikido college student preaching "non-violence" in handling violent confrontation. I knew his school, and they were into that sort of "our training means we are immune to violent confrontation."
"What if I just punch you in the face," I asked rhetorically.
"Well, you would not do that because I would diffuse the situation!"
Now, it is easy to "point-and-laugh" at the ridiculousness of the young and eager and then try to apply it to the whole. It is fallacious. However, the school did preach that sort of nonsense.
