Even Aikidoka think Aikido is fake

Well March is Aikido sucks month. I found this post on Aikiweb which this Iwama stylist of Aikido whines about how fake Aikido is. He does Iwama which is supposedly the Aikido that isn't pussified. Iwama stylist on the board might be able to tell you more about it. This post is great you don't even have to sign up to comment on it.

Maybe they finally ARE learning after all this time.
Or perhaps they are adapting, like roaches to pesticide.

    In other words:

If I don't think I suck, then my art will work better, whether it presents an advantage or not.

The power of positive thinking. What a crock.

Dude, Aikido is an art based on denial.

I wonder if Ueshiba ever foresaw something like this to happen to his creation (?????????????)
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

That is a very good point, i practice aikido and i also think that the mayority of the aikido that is seen around (specially on the net) is very weak. The aikido i practice is very hard and combat oriented. There isn't much of this gentle flowy stuff that you always see and laught at.

I read something where his son fucked up Aikido to make it more available to the public. The organization he created is called the Aikkikai.
