That wasen't a double leg. That was a very poorly done back bump.

My ears arent jammed with whatever you said...

A : I mean the way he does the takedown is simple.
B : I only explained what Wt does against a takedown. In my post i also say i do not think that this technique is good.

[QUOTE=Harlekin_Ger] Nic Osei ( who won gold in bjj competition in sweden in the absolute division ) and he told me that he did 2 mma fights in "gladiators" or something.
Everyone expected him to win with his WingChun because he trained with Dai Sifu Reimers in Germany, but he won both fights via Submission. He told me that the WT helped him for his standup fights, but without grappling it is nearly impossible to win against Mmartists.

I saw this fight. The aftermath was hilarious - WC people all over the world jumping up and down screaming WC PWNZ MMAZORZ!!11 and me saying "Dude, where the **** is the RNC in WC? And why didn't he chainpunch from mount?"
But nooo, it was still WC PWNZ ALL!!!

WC people are seriously more irritating than BJJers.

    the paradox

Hahaha, have you guys seen the irony in the way this thread was named??????

The most ironic thing of all is the title of this brain-dead thread : "WC finally defeats a grappler".

    Finally? I mean... finally?

Finally? It's like saying "****, we've been trying and trying, and we finally did it."

Meaning they previously failed and failed and just fucking failed. So were was all the effective WC anti-grappling that's been trumpeted for so long? If it was effective to beging with, then why is it until now that they finally defeated a grappler?

What a fucking retarded way to name a thread that tries to advocate something.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

This is because you fail to grasp proper WC principles. It's in there, you just have to open your mind and look.

The question should be : "Why does a Mma and Bjj Guy train WingChun if he cannot use it" I would say for self defense, thats all Wt is made for in my opinion.

The thread author is clearly NOT advocating WC/T.

Why is it that all these 'anti-grappling' threads are by wing chun guys?

I dont see any boxers starting anti-grappling threads.

Because real boxers don't give a **** they have no ground game. The lack of it seems to bother a lot of other people, though.
