    You are forgetting that Peter Smith had Muay Thai training at this time. It is true that he was a black belt Kyokushin but he still was a thaifighter aswell.

    So this is not a really good comparison...

    Still Peter Smith was great and he was the first white man who was a Muay Thai World Champion.

    Too bad he got killed some years ago... RIP

    Smith was a 4th Dan.So plus 20 years of karate.The last I heard he hadn't trained in KK more than awhile ago.He was doing more coaching I beleive in the last years before his death.
