    Bak Mei?

Hi everyone. This my first post so I don't even know if I put it in the right forum.

I have been looking into martial arts to take. A friend takes a style called Bak Mei, I think thats how its spelled. She seems to like it. I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this style. Did you like it or not? I have been to a few websites but would like someone elses opinion.

    Thanks for any help.

Use the search function. Do Bak Mei, Bei Mei and white eyebrow, and see what you come up with.

    Personally, I love Bei Mei.

ok I did those searches, and didn't find anything useful. I have read the ridiculous story of how it was created, but I was more wondering if people think its an effective fighting style or if its just more bullshido kung fu.

    Why did this get owned?

Depends on the school. Hopefully you don't get into some "Chi" nut riders club when you join.

It got moved to the proper forum, general BS.

The fact is that you aren't going to know what it is all about until you walk through the door of the school and see what is going on.

Read the one thread that Bullshido member "lee" chimed in on.

    Bak Mei

Bak mei is definitely a good fighting style. I have been a member of the kwoon here in town for a few years now. Although I am on a bit of a hiatus right now..
There are some pretenders out there though. So be careful what club you join.
