Too early in the morning to read this ****, I'm going back to bed...

You people are confusing me....

You guys talk like TMA guys do nothing but do forms and kick in the air. That's gay!! I did stupid things like iron vest training (hit me so it doesn't hurt anymore), I kicked trees, bags, hit myself with fucking sticks, I punch from horse stance to understand how to punch from hip and stay there so I understand how it feels to have worn out legs and keep fighting. I do an internal set called blossoming lotus that looks like a tai chi form, to get me in touch with my body movements. I was taught to meditate, yes I do breathing exercises. Season 1 and Season 2 Ultimate fighter standouts Diego Sanchez and Luke Cummo did that stuff too. You see Rickson Gracie do some of this stuff in his video Choke. Maybe there's something to this.You guys are talking like TMA fighters never lifted weight, run, did conditioning. Last time I checked they did all that **** for years.

Then to take it to the higher level, I have coaches to push me, I do modern plyometrics, I spar on every level including throwing on 16oz boxing gloves and just boxing which I suck at and have never taken a formal lesson in. I wrestle with wrestler in which I have never taken a formal lesson in (Judo and SAMBO help though).

It's always bugged people why I claim kung-fu as my main title and not the others. Sorry it was the way I was taught. I can't help it if most CMA guy go for the voodoo cult stuff.

Well, which is it?

Maybe you can explain the difference between a "typical" CMA training regiment and yours. Is it the "then I take it to a higher level." Described earlier?

Omega,would you at least agree that your stand-up fighting in that clip looked more like Kick-boxing/MMA and less traditional chinese arts?Because I could swear i would have considered you Muay-thai fighter if I hadn't know your experience.
